Now, according to creative director Nate Simpson, it will be 2022 before we get our hands on it. Originally set to release sometime this year, back in May the studio delayed Kerbal Space Program 2 into fall 2021 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One due to complications from COVID-19. Kerbal Space Program puts players in control of a space program where your sole purpose and duty is to create functional ships for a crew of Kerbals.Kerbal Space Program 2 has seen another delay, and this time, it's being pushed into 2022. With a collection of parts that will play an effect through the build of a spacecraft, players will learn how to successfully develop a spacecraft capable of going into space and landing back down to Earth. Now a sequel is in the works where players can once again launch Kerbals into space but with hopes of gathering new resources and solving secrets to the entire galaxy. There will be a ton of new features added into the game as well such as an improved UI, animated tutorials, and of course next-generation in-game items. Players will have access to brand new engines, fuels, and parts in order to construct a ship that will safely navigate deep space along with successfully landing without harm. Furthermore, a new big feature will be added to the game which is colonies. Since you’re seeking out precious resources, you’ll need to establish a colony that can sustain itself along with mine the various goods within the planet. “Gonna rip the band-aid off fast here: Kerbal Space Program 2 will release in 2022 instead of fall 2021. Soon, as well as a new Feature Video this winter. This announce trailer is inspired by a fan trailer made by Shaun Esau which debuted over six years ago in 2013. Like the fan trailer, this uses music by M83 and depicts the highs and low of playing Kerbal Space Program. If you're not already familiar with the game, Kerbal Space Program is a game about "realistic" space travel in a fictionalized world populated not by humans, but by the cute, titular Kerbals. In the game you have access to all machine components you could possibly need to make rockets, but the game does very little to teach you how to do it successfully. #Kerbal space program 2 trailer reaction how to# What inevitably happens is you build rockets, many of which explode, forcing you to go back to the drawing board. But if you construct your rocket properly, you can get into outer space, and even land on the planet's moon and more. This is why the original fan trailer features majestic shots of space, but also comically overbuilt rockets exploding in the atmosphere. #Kerbal space program 2 trailer reaction how to#.
